While we can show you “how” to build your iPAGE, the real key to an impressive iPAGE is its content. That’s what you provide.
The iPAGE can highlight who you are or something important about your business (if you have one). And, just as you wouldn’t rush through creating your resume that you planned to hand out to potential employers, you should take your time and create the best content and layout for that content. Think of your iPAGE as your most important piece of “self-branding” material.

Could World2one do this for me
If you simply don’t have the time to format your iPAGE properly, World2one can do that for you. There is a charge of $15 per iPAGE. You will need to supply the content (in a Word document) and any photo or image you want inserted into your iPAGE. Send your request for this service to ipage@world2one.com.
Adding text to my iPAGE
This should always be the first step in creating your iPAGE. First, create your content in a word processing program such as Word. Save that document. When you are satisfied with it, you’ll simply copy its contents and then paste it into your iPAGE.
Here’s the tip though: In order to ensure you don’t have any unnecessary formatting in your content that is a result of the particular word processing program, you’ll need to “paste” it into your iPAGE by selecting the “paste as plain text” button on the toolbar. An image of the iPAGE Editor Toolbar and where that button is circled in red below.

Saving my information
Making sure none of your hard work gets lost is critical--so "save" your content regularly when you are in the iPAGE editor. You do that by clicking on the "Update" link at the bottom of the page (shown in the image below).

Formatting the text in my iPAGE
You can select the format of your text, the font type and its size from the toolbar. We've found that the best choices for these are Normal, Verdana or Arial, and small (respectively). You should play around with it though and find the look that works best for you. The image below shows where these items are located on the toolbar.

Adding a photo to my iPAGE--Step 1
If you want to add a photo or image to your iPAGE the first thing you need to have to do is place your cursor in the spot where you want your photo to go--such as the top left-hand corner. Next, click on the Insert Image button on the toolbar.

Adding a photo to my iPAGE--Step 2
Once you click on the insert image button, you'll see the dialog box below. Click on the Browse Server button.

Adding a photo to my iPAGE--Step 3
After you click on the Browse Server button, you'll see the next screen. Click on the Browse button.

Adding a photo to my iPAGE--Step 4
Next you will see the directory of your own computer files. Find a photo or image in your files that you want added to your iPAGE. Once you've found the photo or image you want to add to your iPAGE, double click on it and the next dialog box will appear. Click on Upload New File.

Adding a photo to my iPAGE--Step 5
The screen below will next appear with the image you uploaded. Double click on the image to select it.

Adding a photo to my iPAGE--Step 6
The final step is setting image properties for your photo (it's size, positioning, or if you want any borders around it). Some information that can help you is that your iPAGE is approximately 900 pixels wide. So, most images look best when they are sized at around 200 pixels in width. There's no need to select the height as the system should automatically calculate that number to keep the image's proportions consistent. Refer to the image below for what we believe are the optimum selections for image properties.

Adding a video to my iPAGE--Step 1
If you want to add a video to your iPAGE, you will need to insert a table within your iPAGE. This is best done after you have already placed some text in your iPAGE. Then, you need to place your cursor in the spot where you want the table/video to go. Next, click on the Insert Table button on the toolbar as shown below.
Adding a video to my iPAGE--Step 2
Once you click on the insert table button, you'll see the dialog box below. You should set the table properties just as they are shown in the image below.

Adding a video to my iPAGE--Step 3
Once your table has been inserted into your iPAGE, one trick to help you easily locate the spot later where you are to insert your video is to type in some placeholder text. You can place your in the left column and type in all caps INSERT TEXT. Then place your cursor in the right column and type INSERT VIDEO, just as in the image below.

Adding a video to my iPAGE--Step 4
If you have inserted your table into your iPAGE and want to make some additional changes to its layout, you can edit the table's properties (such as adding an additional column or row) by "right-clicking" on your table. The grid lines will appear around it and a drop down menu. Select Table Properties and you'll see the same dialog box you saw in Step 2 above and can then make any adjustments you want.

Adding a video to my iPAGE--Step 5
Once you have your table in place, you will need to get the "code" for the video you want to embed in your iPAGE. You should open up another tab in your browser (so you keep this page with your iPAGE editor open). Then go to one of the video sharing sites, such as www.youtube.com. When you've located the video you want to insert into your iPAGE, highlight the "code" and copy it using your mouse or keyboard. The image below shows an example of the "code" you'd copy for a video displayed on You Tube.

Adding a video to my iPAGE--Step 6
Now that you've "copied" the "code" for your video, you'll need to "paste" it into your iPAGE. But you have to follow the next two very important steps to accomplish that. You need to click on the Source button in the top left hand corner of the toolbar, shown in the image below.

Adding a video to my iPAGE--Step 7
Once you click on the "Source" button, you'll see all the HTML code that makes up your iPAGE. Simply scroll down the page and find the placeholder text you typed into your table INSERT VIDEO. Highlight all of those letters (but only those words and anything that is in between them--leaving the symbols outside those words unhighlighted, for example:<td>INSERT VIDEO</td> ). Then hit "paste" using your mouse or keyboard and the video code you copied from You Tube will paste into that location. Then click the Source button on the top left of the toolbar to return to the regular iPAGE viewing mode.
Adding a video to my iPAGE--Step 8
Remember to click the Update button to ensure that you've saved this work. Once the you click Update, you should see your video displayed in your iPAGE.

Adding a video to my iPAGE--Step 9
To give your iPAGE some nice balance with the video, you can place your cursor over the placeholder text INSERT TEXT you previously typed into the table. Now simply add text in this area in an amount that equals the height of the video you have embedded.
Adding a hyperlink to my iPAGE
If you want to link some text in your iPAGE to a particular URL, simply highlight the text and click on the Insert Hyperlink button on the toolbar and then type in the URL in the dialog box that pops up.

Using an existing template for my iPAGE
If you don't want to build your iPAGE "free form" you can choose a template that will layout portions of your iPAGE so that you should just have to type in text, insert a photo or a video in a prescribed area. To select a Template, click on the Templates button on the toolbar.
